Spaces Update: Notes From Our January Meeting

Last Friday was our third meeting of the Founders team at The Creation Experiment. Although we had two apologies for absence, another great day was enjoyed by all who could attend and we welcome two new Founders, Sharon & Carole. Both made their presence felt immediately as a force for good.
The morning is always a round-up for the Founders personally, ten minutes to talk about what we have manifested and how we would like to tweak that. Being the first meeting of 2010 we were all concerned with the top three things we would like to create in this brand new year.
After lunch we moved on to discuss our mission. We got closer to creating our first space by discussing a particular space one of us may have available to offer to TCE and working out a list of things we would need to make this space ready. It was rather a long list and we are therefore still in discussion about whether or not this is the right place for us to start.
We want our spaces to be a soft place to fall for those in need of respite, a break, a breather and so we want the spaces to be fit for purpose. Comfy and calming. Warm and supportive.
Our other, perhaps better, idea was to create a website called Donate-A-Space where we would invite people with space in their homes, or holiday homes, or second homes to offer them up for those in need and TCE would be the intermediary which facilitates that.
We have called for a volunteer to donate the website and been lucky to secure that. It will be a one page site which sets out our mission, is linked to our existing site, and invites people with spaces to let us know about them. Its a start.
Its suprisingly difficult to get a team of a dozen women to agree on how this will work, except we all know it will because our intention is aligned.
It’s also difficult to resist rushing in and fixing up the first space and just getting on with it, rather than manifesting what we bring it to fruition. We are noticing that for now.
This is, above all, an experiment and we are only just getting stuck in. We are excited to see what will unfold.

What a brilliant start to yesterday’s second meeting of The Creation Team at Perfect Blend in Clapham!
Since it was raining and we had a suitcase and other complications, I decided to drive to the venue and park right outside. But when I got there at 09.55 I realised I was 5op short in coins for the parking machine.
So I was standing on the pavement shouting for help from Bianca and Antoinette and B and I were by the parking machine fussing with our purses when a rather attractive man walked by and just gave us 50p.
It was that easy! He didn’t even want change for it, he wanted us to have his money and he didn’t even know what we were about to spend the day doing.
What abundance and what a fabulous start to any day and what a super omen for our Creation Experiment. We manifested what we needed with ease and elegance and fun.
The girls inside PB waiting for us, Jakkie and Kate, watched the whole thing through the window and were amazed our our ability to draw a handsome young man into our lives who wanted to give us his money.
WooHoo!
Mr 50p saved our bacon and set the tone for a wonderful second meeting. We couldnt quite get over our good fortune all day and kept having to tell the story to each Founder Member as they rocked up throughout the day. It was a beautifully relaxed day which went on until 9.30 at night and involved cocktails and supper for some. It was fabulous that people felt able to arrive when they could and go when they must.
Who can you help today with a gift of just what they need, just in time?

Well, the inaugural meeting of the founders of The Creation Experiment was indeed creative!
Many of us are familiar with manifesting good things for ourselves and for others. In the Founders group, we have examples from the smallest mantra for getting a parking space each time we approach a destination through to bricks and mortar in the form of houses.
We spent some time on Friday thinking about how we individually use the laws of attraction to manifest for ourselves and others at a practical level and what manifesting IS. Wonderfully, but not really surprising, for there is no coincidence, this can be described as an acronym of CREATE. We reproduce it here for those of you who want to understand how to actively attract what you want and a process for doing it.
Care about something/someone (name it)
Request it (ask for whatever it is with positive intent)
Energise (put some positive energy and intention behind it)
Actualise (make it happen)
Tithe some (give away a proportion of what you get back)
Enjoy what you have created (notice and relish the impact it has)
So, for example, if you wanted to manifest a wonderful Sunday full of laughter where your family or friends really enjoy a great meal together and leave feeling they are pleased to have this day, you could:
- Sit quietly for 5 minutes and say to yourself “I want my family to enjoy a positive experience over lunch today (Care)
- To laugh, enjoy each other and for my food to be enjoyable” Ask for it to be so (Request).
- Make a picture of it in your mind. Make that picture really bright and positive. Feel that it will be a great day, hear the expected sound of laughter (Energise).
- Hold the lunch and experience it with the intent you have defined in mind (Actualise).
- Say thank you by doing something or giving something to another. This could be anything of value to another really. Something that involves some effort on your part. A lunch on a plate for an elderly neighbour or a donation to a charity for example. (Tithe).
- Reflect on the lunch and how much impact your intervention has. (Enjoy)
This is an example of the “how” of manifesting something relatively small. The size and the scale of the “what”? Well, that really is up to you.
